Bubbling might be a strange way of describing vehicle seat materials that have stretched, but we say bubbling because the loose material lifts as you scoot around in the seat. This can make it look as if there are bubbles or something else underneath the surface and, eventually, the loose material could tear. If the material is still in good shape, it can be tightened to fix the problem.
Odors
Odors are another reason why you might want to have your vehicle reupholstered. It could be the previous owner of your automobile was a smoker and the inside smells like cigarettes or cigars. It could be that you smoke and you want to sell your automobile. It could also be pet odors, food odors, or other musty smells related to bacteria and mildew growth on your automotive upholstery, which is dangerous in and of itself.
Stains
Stains are another problem, especially if you cannot get them out. Stained leather upholstery is particularly problematic because you cannot use traditional stain removers on it much less scrub it. Tears
Finally, if your auto upholstery is torn, it’s time to replace it. You don’t want to put tape over the tears; that looks horrible. Plus, the torn upholstery can ruin the seat stuffing, especially if you spill something on the torn seat and the cushion gets wet. In some cases, the tears can be repaired, but if they cannot, it might be a good idea to have the upholstery replaced so you don’t damage your vehicle seats further.
